Jens has finally decided that now is a good time to start growing teeth. Oh joy! We debated weather or not to dope him up before church on Sunday to help with his violent mood swings.
This week I have been taking the appropriate grieving steps following BYU's loss to Yewtah. Ben has been helpful in providing comic relief. I found this one to be very hilarious.

Talking with Max
The following conversation ensued while Max, Natalie, Maren and I were geocaching this weekend:
Max: Hey Kyle, I think I understand your job better than anyone else's.
Kyle: Oh, yeah, how so?
Max: Well, Grandpa, I mean, what kind of job is that?
Kyle: LOL
Max: And my Dad, I've never seen him work.

Sunday snipets
The most exciting events during the past week included: Maren riding Spotsy, birthday parties, and Jens losing a fight with the sidewalk. Maren loved riding Spotsy--thank you Thyssens. She has renamed all of her toy horses and ponies Spotsy. My mom and neice recently had birthdays. Maylie turned the big one and my mom: she's forever young. Happy birthday girls!
And Jens well the picture explains all.

Halloween
Well we've finally caved to peer pressure and got ourselves a blog. Just a fore-warning, we don't promise anything fancy or on a regular basis. So here we go . . .
Halloween:
I think I had more fun dressing the kids up than they did. Maren was into the whole trick or treat thing, but Jens not so much. He just wanted to eat the candy. Kyle took Maren around our neighborhood and said that she "loved" every house they went. They were both pretty funny in their costumes.
